Welcome to Live Kingdom Life Now
We are often told there are two subjects people should never discuss: politics and religion.
Sorry it is just too important.
This blogspot is for this very purpose.
We need to talk about, to think about, to ponder information that has some real significance, some real importance in life. Many people are completely unaware that the United States government doesn't look today the way it did when America first started.
What book did Congress want taught in our public school system when we first started this nation? Do you know? Were you taught that our Congress actually paid for the printing of Bibles so that the Public School Systems could teach children about Christianity? Christianity is the very religion that our founding fathers said was the foundation on which our government was to be established.
George Washington said:
"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars."
George Washington said that a man could not be a patriot if he didn't believe in the pillars of religion and morality.
What religion? Our Founders answered that too.
Patrick Henry
“It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not but religionists but by Christians, not on religion but on the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
John Adams
The general principles that the Fathers achieved independence were… the general principles of Christianity… I will avow that I then believed and now believe that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God"
John Jay, First Chief Justice of the Supreme Court:
Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty - as well as the privilege and Interest - of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers."
Even our Supreme Court ruled knowing this truth
US Congressional Records June 7-Sept 25, 1789
Clearly show the intent of the First Amendment: Not to have one denomination running the nation. Runkel v. Winemiller (1799)
“By our form of government, the Christian religion is the established religion; and all sects and denominations of Christians are placed on the same equal footing."
House Judiciary Committee Report March 27, 1854
“Had the people [the Founding Fathers], during the Revolution, a suspicion of any attempt to war against Christianity, that Revolution would have been strangled in its cradle… At the time of the adoption of the Constitution and it’s amendments, the universal sentiment was that Christianity should be encouraged, but not any one sect [denomination]."
The report continued: "In this age, there is no substitute for Christianity… That was the religion of the founders of the republic and they expected it to remain the religion of their descendants."
(2 months later)
"The great vital and conservative element in our system [the thing that holds our system together] is the belief of our people in the pure doctrines and the divine truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ."
Noah Webster
“[O]ur citizens should early understand that the genuine source of correct republican principles is the Bible, particularly the New Testament, or the Christian religion.”
Benjamin Rush:
“democracy equals’mobocracy’ [T]he only means of establishing and perpetuation our republican forms of government… is the universal education of our youth in the principles of Christianity by means of the Bible.”
Today our children are being taught the exact opposite. A supreme court that now says we can't teach Bible in school. California Supreme Court that's says we can't even define marriage between man and a woman which every society for generations has understood that common understanding. So do you realize these two topics, politics and religion, shape people's lives whether they realize it or not so let's talk about it because all people will live for eternity and what you understand about these two topics will make a world of difference.
There's an enemy that people most people don't see. They don't even believe the enemy exists. They feel the effects daily much like they can feel the wind daily and feel the effects of the wind blowing homes over tearing up farms but they never see it coming because if you only believe in what you can see you will miss the real war going on and that war is for your soul.
