Top experts do not agree with CA governor who wants what the unions want; no schools to open.

Beginning October 1, 2020, the American Institute for Economic Research (founded in 1933 to promulgate evidence-based solutions to social and economic problems) hosted the world’s top epidemiologists, economists, and journalists, to discuss for four days the COVID-19 emergency.
Their conclusion (The Great Barrington Declaration) urges a “Focused Protection” strategy: “Schools and universities should be open for in-person teaching. Extracurricular activities, such as sports, should be resumed. Young low-risk adults should work normally, rather than from home. Restaurants and other businesses should open. Arts, music, sport and other cultural activities should resume.”
